Removal [08/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  6. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  11. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  12. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  14. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  15. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) 
    1. Disconnect the 5 connectors.

    2. Remove the bolt and nut.

    3. Detach the guide and remove the DCM (telematics transceiver).
