Adjustment [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2019 - ]

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE 
    1. Remove the radiator grille (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - ] ).
  3. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2019 - ]

  4. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1[08/2015 - 08/2019], or see step  1[08/2019 - ]

  5. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Adjust the hood position.
      1. Loosen the 4 hinge bolts on the hood.

      2. Move the hood and adjust the clearance between the hood and front fender.
      3. Tighten the 4 hinge bolts on the hood.

        Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Adjust the height of the front end of the hood using the cushion rubbers.
      1. Adjust the 2 cushion rubbers so that the heights of the hood and fender are aligned.

        HINT: 

        Raise or lower the front end of the hood by turning the 2 cushion rubbers.

    3. Adjust the hood lock.
      1. Loosen the 3 bolts.

      2. Adjust the hood lock and tighten the 3 bolts.

        Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) 

      3. Check that the striker can smoothly engage with the hood lock.
  6. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [08/2019 - ]

  7. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE 
    1. Install the radiator grille (Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to INSTALLATION [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to INSTALLATION [08/2021 - ] ).
  8. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2019 - ]

  9. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [08/2019 - ]
