REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 10/2016]
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly to remove the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

Disengage the 2 clips.

Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the hood lock release lever protector.

REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the 3 bolts.

Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly to remove the hood lock assembly.

REMOVE UPPER FRONT FENDER PROTECTOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

Tie a string to the end of the hood lock control cable assembly.

HINT:

Use a length of string long enough to pass through the engine compartment.

Pull out the hood lock control cable assembly from the grommet as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Leave the string inside the grommet.

Disconnect the string from the hood lock control cable assembly.

Using a screwdriver, disengage the 5 clamps.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Pull the hood lock control cable assembly from the engine compartment to remove it.
