REMOVAL (To 8/2009): Removal

  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension) 
    NOTE:

    Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing. Refer to PRECAUTION .

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  3. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) 
    1. Disconnect the 3 clamps and oxygen sensor connector (for Bank 1 Sensor 2).

    2. Remove the wire harness clamp bracket.

    3. Using SST, remove the oxygen sensor from the No. 3 front exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

      • SST: 09224-00010 
  4. REMOVE NO. 3 FRONT EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, 2 compression springs and No. 3 front exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 3 gaskets from the No. 3 front exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  6. REMOVE NO. 2 OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) 
    1. Using SST, remove the No. 2 oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
