Luggage Compartment Door Opener Main Switch: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system (See PRECAUTION ).
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the luggage compartment door opener main switch
