Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the IDs stored in the ECU using the Techstream and note them down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ) after registration (See REGISTRATION ) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver if the ECU and/or one of the valve and transmitters have been replaced.
- CHECK DTC
- Check for DTCs of the multiplex communication system (See
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
) and the speed sensor (See
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
).
Result

- Check for DTCs of the multiplex communication system (See
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
) and the speed sensor (See
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
).
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG)
- Turn the Techstream on
- Enter the following menus. Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.
- Check that the value indicated on the Techstream and on the combination meter are the same
