Inspection Procedure

NOTE:

When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
It is necessary to perform the initialization (See INITIALIZATION ) after the registration (See REGISTRATION ) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver if the ECU and/or one of the valve and transmitters have been replaced.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT (C2176/76)
1. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR )
2. Turn the engine switch off
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and check for DTC (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR )
  OK: DTC C2176/76 is not output.
NG: REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER (See REMOVAL )
