Washer Motor: Removal

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system (See PRECAUTION ).NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 3 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 3 front fender liner LH screws
- Disengage the engine under cover clip.
- Remove the 2 bolts, the screw, and the No. 3 air intake duct sub-assembly.
- DRAIN WASHER FLUID
- Remove the washer hose from the windshield washer motor and pump assembly, and drain the washer fluid.
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect each connector.
- Remove the bolt
- Pull the upper part of the washer jar and pump upward to remove it from the windshield washer jar and pump assembly.
- Remove the 3 bolts and the windshield washer jar and pump assembly.
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY
- Remove the windshield washer motor and pump assembly
