Headlight Assembly: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for LH Side)  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH (for LH Side)  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (for RH Side)  (See REMOVAL )
  8. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR RH (for RH Side)  (See REMOVAL )
  9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector as shown in the illustration

    2. Remove the 3 bolts
    3. Disengage the headlight bracket pin and remove the headlight assembly
