Front Bumper: Removal

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 9 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR 
    1. Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pins 90 degrees and remove the 2 pin hold clips.

      HINT:

      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
      • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. remove the screw.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.
    4. Remove the 8 screws.

    5. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and screw.

    6. Disengage the 10 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
    7. w/ headlight cleaner system:
      1. Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.
        NOTE: Prepare a drain pan or a piece of cloth in case washer fluid leaks.
    8. w/ intuitive parking assist system:
      1. Disconnect the ultrasonic sensor connector.
    9. Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors and remove the front bumper assembly.
