Inspection Procedure

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3
- Turn the engine switch on (IG)
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Select the item below in the Data List, and read the display on the Techstream

- INSPECT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Remove the ambient temperature sensor
- Disconnect the ambient temperature sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

HINT
As the temperature increases, the resistance decreases (see the graph)
NG: REPLACE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (See REMOVAL )
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR - A/C AMPLIFIER)
- Disconnect the A/C amplifier connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
