Headlight Dimmer Switch: Installation

  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the headlight dimmer switch assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the headlight dimmer switch assembly with the claw and the clamp
    3. Connect the connector

  2. INSTALL TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE WITH STEERING ANGLE SENSOR  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT 
  9. INSTALL STEERING PAD  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  13. INSPECT STEERING PAD  (See INSTALLATION )
  14. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Inspect the SRS warning light (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
