Rear Bumper: Reassembly

  1. INSTALL UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH 
    1. Install the upper rear bumper retainer LH with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Install the No. 2 rear bumper side support LH with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Install the No. 1 rear bumper side support LH with the 2 screws and clip

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT.

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 8 bolts.

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT LH 
    1. Engage the 3 guides and 4 ribs and 6 claws, and install the rear bumper arm reinforcement LH.

  9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Install the rear bumper energy absorber.

  11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PAD LH 
    1. Install a new rear bumper pad LH.

      HINT

      Stick the new rear bumper pad LH on the line marked on the rear bumper assembly

  12. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PAD RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  13. INSTALL REAR BUMPER LOWER RETAINER LH 
    1. Install the rear bumper lower retainer LH with the screw.

  14. INSTALL REAR BUMPER LOWER RETAINER RH 

    HINT.

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  15. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR LH 
    1. Install the rear bumper protector LH
  16. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR RH 
    1. Install the rear bumper protector RH
  17. INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION LH 
    1. Install the rear bumper extension LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

  18. INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION RH 

    HINT.

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  19. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH 
    1. Install the No. 2 rear bumper side retainer LH with the bolt and screw

      Torque: bolt 

      5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

  20. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  21. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Engage the claw and install the reflex reflector assembly LH
    2. Install the screw

  22. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  23. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PIECE LH 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper piece LH

  24. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PIECE RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  25. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)  (See INSTALLATION )
  26. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)  (See INSTALLATION )
  27. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 
    1. Engage the 4 clamps and install the No. 3 luggage room wire
    2. Engage the 4 connectors
