Luggage Compartment Door Garnish: Removal

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and disconnect the cover.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 12 clips and luggage compartment door cover.

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REINFORCEMENT 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and luggage compartment door reinforcement.

  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE KEY ELECTRICAL SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the connector
    2. Remove the nut and luggage key electrical switch.

  7. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)  (See REMOVAL )
  8. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL )
  9. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE  (See REMOVAL  )
  11. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PLATE  (See REMOVAL  )
  12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OUTSIDE DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts
    2. Disengage the 5 clips and remove the luggage compartment outside door garnish sub-assembly.
