Name Plate: Removal

HINT:

When removing the emblem and plates, heat the vehicle body, emblem and plates using a heat light.

Heating Temperature

HEATING TEMPERATURE SPECIFICATION

Item	Temperature
Vehicle Body	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
Emblem	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
Plate	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

NOTE: Do not heat the vehicle body, emblem and plates excessively.

REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM
1. Put protective tape around the symbol emblem
2. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and symbol emblem
3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.
4. Pull the piano wire and cut through the double-sided tape that holds the emblem to the vehicle body.

  NOTE:
  - If reusing the emblem, take care not to damage the symbol emblem.
  - Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
5. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the symbol emblem.
REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE
1. Put protective tape around the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.
2. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate
3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends

4. Pull the piano wire and cut through the double-sided tape that holds the name plate to the vehicle body.
  NOTE:
  - If reusing the name plate, take care not to damage the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.
  - Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
5. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate
REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PLATE
1. Put protective tape around the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate
2. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 3 luggage compartment door plate

3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends

  - If reusing the door plate, take care not to damage the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.
  - Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
5. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate
REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT FENDER NAME PLATE
1. Put protective tape around the No. 2 front fender name plate
2. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 2 front fender name plate.
3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends
4. Pull the piano wire and cut through the double-sided tape that holds the name plate to the vehicle body

  NOTE:
  - If reusing the name plate, take care not to damage the No. 2 front fender name plate.

5. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the No. 2 front fender name plate
REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT FENDER NAME PLATE
1. Put protective tape around the No. 1 front fender name plate
2. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 1 front fender name plate.
3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends

4. Pull the piano wire and cut through the double-sided tape that holds the name plate to the vehicle body.
