Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly With PRETENSIONER: Removal

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  (See REMOVAL )
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
   CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
   NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH 
   1. for Power Seat:

      Remove the rear seat cushion (see REMOVAL ).

   2. for Ottoman:

      Remove the rear seat cushion (see REMOVAL ).

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH 
   1. for Power Seat:

      Remove the rear seat cushion (see REMOVAL ).

   2. for Ottoman:

      Remove the rear seat cushion (see REMOVAL ).

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)  (See REMOVAL )
6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
   1. for Standard Body:

      Remove the rear door scuff plate (see REMOVAL ).

   2. for Long Body:

      Remove the rear door scuff plate (see REMOVAL ).

7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
   1. for Standard Body:

      Remove the rear door scuff plate (see REMOVAL ).

   2. for Long Body:

      Remove the rear door scuff plate (see REMOVAL ).

8. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH  (See REMOVAL )
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH  (See REMOVAL )
10. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH  (See REMOVAL )
11. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH  (See REMOVAL )
12. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor anchor.

13. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
14. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER 
    1. for Power Seat:

       Remove the nut and anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly.

    2. for Fixed Seat Type:

       Remove the nut and anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly.

15. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. for Power Seat:

       Remove the rear seatback (see REMOVAL ).

    2. for Ottoman:

       Remove the rear seatback (see REMOVAL ).

16. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. for Power Seat:

       Remove the rear seatback (see REMOVAL ).

    2. for Ottoman:

       Remove the rear seatback (see REMOVAL ).

17. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)  (See REMOVAL )
18. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade)  (See REMOVAL )
19. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Sunshade) 
    1. Except Ottoman:

       Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the 3 belt guides.

       1. Disengage the 2 clips and raise the front portion of the package tray trim panel assembly.
       2. Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly.
       3. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the package tray trim panel assembly.

    2. for Ottoman:

       Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 belt guides.

       1. Disengage the 2 clips and raise the front portion of the package tray trim panel assembly.
       2. Pass the 2 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly.
       3. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the package tray trim panel assembly.

20. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT LH (w/ Rear Cooler)  (See REMOVAL )
21. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT RH (w/ Rear Cooler)  (See REMOVAL )
22. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR DUCT REAR (w/ Rear Cooler)  (See REMOVAL )
23. REMOVE NO. 5 AIR DUCT REAR (w/ Rear Cooler)  (See REMOVAL )
24. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the pretensioner connector, as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the bolt and seat belt.

25. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the pretensioner connector, as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the bolt and seat belt.

26. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seat outer belt assembly center.
