Roof Opening Panel Blind Motor Cables (G2578202): Installation

Install the 2 roof blind motor cables into the frame assembly guides in the direction illustrated.

- Install the 2 inner locators to the frame assembly guides.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
  Torque : 3.5 Nm

Use a suitable tool to push the roof blind motor cables all the way to the front of the frame to a hard stop as illustrated.

- Install the roof blind motor.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
  Torque : 3 Nm

Connect the roof blind motor electrical connector.
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Operate the roof blind motor moving the cables back approximately 480 mm .

Reposition the roof blind into the correct location in the frame assembly.
NOTE: An audible click will be heard when correctly engaged.

- Install the roof blind to the 2 cable plates.
- Install the 2 slide shoe clips into the correct location.
Perform roof opening panel motor synchronization procedure.

Operate the roof blind assembly for 3 cycles to make sure the material has no distortions and the blind is installed correctly.
Install the roof opening panel air deflector.

Install the roof opening panel glass.

Install the headliner.
