Removal And Installation: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal and the service interlock connector.
(Refer to Battery Control System - " AUXILIARY 12 V BATTERY 2WD ")

(Refer to Battery Control System - " AUXILIARY 12 V BATTERY 4WD ")
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Body - " CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
Disconnect the Knee Airbag (KAB) module connector (A).

Remove the Knee Airbag (KAB) module (A) after removing the nuts.
Tightening torque:

5.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.8 kgf.m, 4.3 - 5.8 lb.ft, 52.1 - 69.4 lb.in)
