Body - Interior/Exterior: Interior: Headliner: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the visors. Refer to VISOR, REMOVAL .

Cut the washer fluid hose midway on the A-pillar. A splice will need to be installed during installation.
NOTE:
Have a rag and container ready to catch any washer fluid.
Disconnect the front electrical connector (2) and separate the wire harness (1) from the A-pillar.
Remove the B-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL .
Remove the C-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, C-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL .
Remove the D-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, D-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL .
Remove the D-pillar trim extensions.

Disconnect the rear electrical connectors (1).
Disconnect the washer fluid hose at the rear of headliner.
Remove the two rear push pin fasteners (2).

For vehicles with a sunroof, separate the hook and loop fasteners (2) around the sunroof opening.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to crease the headliner.
With the help of an assistant, remove the headliner through the liftgate opening.
