Panel, C-Pillar Trim: Removal
- Remove the screw (1) that secures the rear outboard seat belt (4) lower anchor and the rear seat back bracket (2) to the rear floor panel (3).
- Position the door seal (1) aside.
- Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the retaining clips that secure the side upper trim (1) to the body.
- Release the tether from the trim and remove the headliner trim.NOTE:
The front top area of the quarter panel trim (1) will need to be released approximately 100 mm (4 in) to access the C-pillar trim lower fastener.
- With the use of a plastic trim tool (2) or equivalent, carefully disengage the retaining clips that secure the front top area of the quarter panel trim (1).
- Remove the fastener (2) securing the bottom of the C-pillar trim (1), located behind the quarter panel trim (3).
- Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the retaining clips (2) that secure the C-pillar trim (3) to the C-pillar and remove the trim panel.
- Remove the seat belt from the trim.
