Heater, Transmission: Installation

- If removed, install the transmission jumper line (1) to the heater (2).NOTE:
The two upper transmission heater to transmission bolts must be in the heater before placing the heater into position.
- While guiding the rigid transmission jumper line (1) into the heater (2) position the transmission heater in place.
- Tighten the three bolts (1) and torque to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the coolant hoses (1, 2) to the transmission heater.
- Connect the transmission jumper line (1) at the lower port of the transmission.
- If equipped, attach the transfer case vent hose routing clip (1) to the upper transmission cooler jumper line (2).
- Connect the transmission cooler lines (1) into the transmission heater (2).
- Install transmission cooler line bracket (2) on the studbolt at the bellhousing. Install the speed nut (2).
- Install the transmission cooler line routing clip (1) from the right front corner of the engine oil pan (2).
- Install the transmission lines to the routing bracket at the engine oil pan.
- Install the rear propeller shaft. Refer to SHAFT, DRIVE, REAR, INSTALLATION .
- If equipped, install the front propeller shaft. Refer to SHAFT, DRIVE, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
- Fill the engine with coolant. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Fill the transmission with fluid. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
