Front Outer Air Outlets

Left Side

  1. Position the air outlet to the opening in the instrument panel and align the outlet to the instrument panel duct.
  2. Engage the retaining tabs that secure each air outlet to the instrument panel. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
  3. Install and securely tighten the air outlet to instrument panel screw (2).
  4. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION .

Right Side

  1. Position the air outlet to the opening in the instrument panel and align the outlet to the instrument panel duct.
  2. Engage the retaining tabs that secure each air outlet to the instrument panel. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
  3. Install and securely tighten the air outlet to instrument panel screw (1).

  4. Position and engage the retaining clips of the lower instrument panel (2) into the carrier frame. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
  5. Install and securely tighten the three lower instrument panel screws and the two behind the end cap.
  6. Install the instrument panel end cap. Refer to CAP, INSTRUMENT PANEL END, INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the glovebox. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
