Latch Release Cable: Installation

  1. Install the cable from the inside and attach the retaining clips.
  2. Install the hood latch release handle. (Refer to BODY/HOOD/LATCH RELEASE HANDLE - INSTALLATION) .
  3. Install the powertrain control module. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES/POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE - INSTALLATION) .
  4. Install the hood latch. (Refer to BODY/HOOD/LATCH - INSTALLATION) .
  5. Install the battery. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/BATTERY - INSTALLATION) .
