Test TC-141C - Governor Pressure Not Equal To Target @ 15-20 Psi

CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE: Perform TEST TC-141A  before proceeding. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS . Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A  after each repair.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect transmission solenoid connector. Inspect connector and terminals for damage. Repair connector and terminals as necessary. If connector and terminals are okay, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance at terminal No. 1 on transmission solenoid connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open relay output circuit. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  3. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between terminals No. 1 and 5 on transmission solenoid pack component connector (transmission side). If resistance is 4.7 ohms or more, perform TEST TC-141F . If resistance is less than 4.7 ohms, go to next step.
  4. Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connectors. Inspect connectors and terminals for damage. Repair connectors and terminals as necessary. If connectors and terminals are okay, go to next step.
  5. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between terminal No. 8 on PCM White connector and terminal No. 5 on transmission solenoid connector. If resistance is 10 ohms or less, repair open governor pressure solenoid circuit. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, replace PCM.
