Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back cushion finish panel. Refer to Front Seat Back Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  5. Remove the head restraint guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement .
  6. Remove the inflatable restraint front seat side module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Front .
  7. Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
  8. Remove the seat back side outer cover.
  9. Remove the seat back side inner cover.
  10. Remove the seat back blower assembly. Refer to Seat Back Ventilation Heat and Cool Blower Replacement .
  11. Remove the lumbar assembly. Refer to Lumbar Replacement - Front Seat (w/AL2) or Lumbar Replacement - Front Seat (w/AM3) .
1 Front Seat Back Cushion Frame Bolts (Qty: 4)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  45 N.m (33 lb ft)
