Lumbar Replacement - Front Seat (w/AL2)

Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement . Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
1	Lumbar Assembly, Front Seat Tip: Disconnect the electrical connectors. Pull outward at the bottom of the seat to release the retainers. Pull the bottom of the lumbar forward and up until the lumbar support wires disengage from the seat back frame.

Preliminary Procedure

Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement .
Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .

Tip:

Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Pull outward at the bottom of the seat to release the retainers.
Pull the bottom of the lumbar forward and up until the lumbar support wires disengage from the seat back frame.
