Removal and Installation
Removal
CAUTION:
- Before replacing AFS control unit, perform "READ CONFIGURATION" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to Description .
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal or remove power circuit fuse when performing the operation for preventing electric leakage. Refer to Battery Disconnect .
- Remove instrument side finisher (RH). Refer to Exploded View .
- Release clip and slide AFS control unit (1) off bracket (A).
: Clip - Disconnect the harness connector from AFS control unit and remove.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Be sure to perform "WRITE CONFIGURATION" when replacing AFS control unit, Or AFS control unit will not function properly. Refer to Work Procedure .
- Be sure to perform "SENSOR INITIALIZE" when replacing AFS control unit. Refer to Work Procedure .
