Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the BCM input signal. Refer to Component Function Check .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

GO TO 3.

1. CONSULT
   1. Select "TRUNK/GLAS-H" in "Data Monitor" mode of "METER/M".
   2. Check that the function operates normally according to the following conditions:

      Monitor item	Condition	Status
      TRUNK/GLAS-H	Back door open	On
      	Back door closed	Off

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

1. Check the back door switch signal circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

1. Check the back door switch. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

Replace back door switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .
