Removal and Installation: Removal

Shift the selector lever to "N" position, and release the parking brake.
Remove air duct (inlet). Refer to Exploded View .
Remove engine under cover with a power tool. Refer to Exploded View .
Remove A/T fluid cooler hose A and A/T fluid cooler hose B.
Disconnect heated oxygen sensor 2 connectors (A).

: Vehicle front
Remove heated oxygen sensor 2 harness (B) from clips (1).
Remove bracket (2) from A/T assembly. Refer to Exploded View .
Remove propeller shaft assembly (front). Refer to Exploded View .
Remove front drive shaft (left side). Refer to Exploded View .
Remove A/T fluid cooler tube mounting bolts.
NOTE: Cap or plug openings to prevent fluid from spilling.
Remove the clips and bands fixing two A/T fluid cooler tubes.
Remove the A/T fluid cooler tubes one at a time from the vehicle.
CAUTION: Be careful not to bend A/T fluid cooler tubes.
