Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2007 GMC Yukon XL, 2007 GMC Yukon, 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the auxiliary heater pipes to the vehicle.

  3. Install the auxiliary heater pipes (2) to the clamps (5).
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the heater/A/C tubes retaining nut (4) to the stud (1) at the frame (6).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  7. Install the auxiliary heater pipes (2, 3) to the auxiliary heater core.
  8. Install the right front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  9. Install the right rear wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Panel Replacement - Rear .
  10. Install both of the right tires. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

  12. Install the auxiliary heater pipes (1, 2) to the heater inlet and outlet tees (3, 4).

  14. Connect the outlet heater hose to the heater core.
  15. Connect the inlet heater hose to the heater core.
  16. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
