Liftgate Center Applique Replacement (Escalade)

Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear wiper motor. Refer to Wiper Motor Replacement - Rear . Open the liftgate. Remove the liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement . Remove the 4 applique nuts from inside the liftgate panel. Release the 3 upper integral retainer clips from the exterior side of the liftgate panel. Disconnect the electrical connector.
1	Liftgate Center Applique Assembly Nuts (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 6 N.m (53 lb in)

Open the liftgate.
Remove the liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
Remove the 4 applique nuts from inside the liftgate panel.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Liftgate Center Applique Assembly Nuts (Qty: 4)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 6 N.m (53 lb in)
