Rear Seat Number 2 Load Floor Latch Cable Replacement

Rear Seat Number 2 Load Floor Latch Cable Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Suburban/Yukon XL)  or Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade) .
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion trim covers. Refer to Seat Cushion Panel Replacement - Rear No. 2 (AS3)  or Seat Cushion Panel Replacement - Rear No. 2 (AW2) .
1 Rear Seat Latch Release Handle
Refer to Rear Seat Latch Release Handle Replacement (Rear No. 2) .
2 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Cushion Latch Nut (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

3 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Cushion Latch Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

4 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Cushion Latch
Tip:  Release the latch cables from the seat, note the locations for installation.
