Rear Seat Number 2 Back Cushion Latch Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade)  or Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Suburban/Yukon XL) .
  2. Remove the rear seat number 2 back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear seat number 2 cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
1 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Bolt
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

2 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

3 Rear Seat No. 2 Cushion Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten:  52 N.m (38 lb ft)

4 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Frame
5 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Cushion Latch

Procedure

  1. Note the location of the cables for installation purposes.
  2. Remove the cables from the latch.
