Remove the rear seat cushion trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement - Rear No.1 (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) or Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement - Rear No.1 (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) or Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement - Rear No.1 (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) .
1	Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Screw (Qty: 2) Tighten: 3 N.m (25 lb in)
2	Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Assembly Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector. Disconnect the actuator cable assembly.

Preliminary Procedures

Fold the seat forward.
Remove the rear seat cushion trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement - Rear No.1 (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) or Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement - Rear No.1 (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) or Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement - Rear No.1 (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) .

Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)

Tighten: 3 N.m (25 lb in)

Tip:

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Disconnect the actuator cable assembly.
