Power Recliner Motor Replacement - Front Seat

Preliminary Procedure: Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
1	Front Seat Adjuster Outer Finish Cover Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (Manual) or Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (Power) .
2	Front Seat Adjuster Inner Finish Cover Refer to Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement - Front .
3	Front Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Tip: Using a nylon flat-bladed tool, push the tabs in on the side of the panel to release from the seat back to remove.
4	Front Seat Riser Finish Cover Tip: Pull rearward to disengage the cover from the seat riser.
5	Front Seat Head Restraint Assembly Tip: Depress the button on the inboard head restraint guide to raise the head restraint to the full up position. Insert a small diameter tool into the hole on the inboard side of the outboard head restraint guide and pull upward to remove.
6	Front Seat Head Restraint Guide (Qty: 2) Tip: Squeeze the bottom of the guide together and push up to remove from the seat back.
7	Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Refer to Front Seat Back Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
8	Seat Recliner Shaft Tip: Remove the recliner on the on the same side as the recliner motor. Refer to Front Seat Back Hinge and Recliner Mechanism Replacement . Remove only the recliner shaft on the side of the recliner motor. Do NOT rotate the recliner motor or seat back.
9	Front Seat Recliner Motor Bolt NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
10	Front Seat Recliner Motor Tip: Reinstall the recliner, tighten the recliner to seat back frame and recliner to seat cushion frame bolts to ensure the inner and outer recliners remain aligned. Adjust the recliner motor when installing to ensure correct alignment.
