Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the carrier assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement .
- Remove the instrument panel air distributor assembly. Refer to Air Distributor Duct Replacement
.
- Prior to removal of the instrument panel carrier support assembly, note the location of the instrument panel electrical centers and junction blocks.
- Disconnect all instrument panel electrical centers and junction blocks from the instrument panel carrier support assembly and position out of the way.
- Prior to removal of the instrument panel carrier support assembly, note the routing of the instrument panel wiring harness and connector locations to ensure proper reinstallation.
- Disconnect the instrument panel wiring harness from the instrument panel carrier support assembly and position out of the way.

Tighten:
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
