Preliminary Procedure Remove the body lock pillar upper garnish molding. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUV) or Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUT) . Remove the rear door sill trim plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement . Fold the rear seat flat to the stowed position. Open the midgate and fold it flat to the stowed position.
1	Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Assembly Procedure: Grasp the molding assembly and pull it outward disengaging the clips securing it to the body.
2	Retainer Clips (Qty: 5)

Remove the rear door sill trim plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
Fold the rear seat flat to the stowed position.
Open the midgate and fold it flat to the stowed position.

Procedure:
Grasp the molding assembly and pull it outward disengaging the clips securing it to the body.
