DTC U012D (Battery Condition Monitor Module)

DTC U012D  : F-CAN Malfunction (Battery Condition Monitor Module - Generator Motor Control Module)

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
• If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC U012D, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for U012D.

DTC (Electric Powertrain)

1. DTC check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	Confirmed DTC	Pending DTC	Freeze Frame
   U12A5 EP-CAN Malfunction (Battery Condition Monitor Module - Generator Motor Control Module)

   DTC (Electric Powertrain)

   Is DTC U12A5 indicated at the same time?

   YES 

   Go to the DTC U12A5 troubleshooting .

   NO 

   Update the battery condition monitor module if it does not have the latest software .
