SRS indicator stays on, but no DTCs are stored, or cannot be read

Diagnostic procedure

NOTE: If any of the CAN communication failure DTC is indicated in other system, troubleshoot the DTC first.

Check for open wire or shorted wire in the F-CAN circuit;
- -
  Between the SRS unit and the CAN gateway (F-CAN C_H, F-CAN C_L)
- -
  Between the CAN gateway and the gauge control module (F-CAN D_H, F-CAN D_L)

Check the SRS unit power circuit (IG1_SRS).
Check the SRS unit ground circuit (GND).
Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .
