Both Mirrors Inoperative

  1. Check fuse No. 16 (7.5-amp) located in underdash fuse block. Replace as required. Remove power mirror switch. Disconnect switch from harness. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, check for voltage between terminal No. 1 (Black/Blue wire) and ground. See Figure. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open circuit in Black/Blue wire between mirror switch and underdash fuse block.
  3. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between terminal No. 2 (Black wire) and ground. If continuity does not exist, repair open circuit in Black wire or poor ground connection. If wiring is okay, check both mirrors individually. See LEFT MIRROR INOPERATIVE  or RIGHT MIRROR INOPERATIVE  .
