Right Mirror Inoperative

  1. Remove power mirror switch. Disconnect switch from harness. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn ignition on. Using jumper wires, connect terminal No. 1 (Blue/Black wire) to terminal No. 8 (Green/White wire), and either terminal No. 4 (Yellow/Red wire) or terminal No. 10 (Yellow/Black wire) to ground. See Figure.
  2. If mirror does not tilt down (or swing left), check for open in Yellow/Red wire or Yellow/Black wire between mirror switch and right mirror. If wiring is okay, check right mirror actuator. See POWER MIRROR ACTUATOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror does not tilt down and does not swing left, repair open in Green/White wire between power mirror switch and power mirror actuator. If mirror operates correctly, check mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
