Installation Procedure

With the aid of an assistant, install the liftgate. (2)

CAUTION:

Liftgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

NOTE:
Ensure the clip is fully seated when the rod is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.

{ If equipped } Liftgate Strut (1) - Install
{ If equipped } Install the 2 metal clips to the end of the liftgate strut (1).

NOTE:

Liftgate Power Assist Actuator (2) - Install
First install the liftgate end of the liftgate power assist actuator (2) and then install the body side.
Install the 2 metal clips to each end of the liftgate power assist actuator (2).
Install the liftgate power assist actuator harness grommet (1).

Connect the electrical connector. (1)

Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (1) - Install

Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) - Install

Connect the rear washer hose.
Connect the electrical connectors. (1)
