Installation Procedure

    With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument panel (1) in the vehicle.

  2. Instrument Panel (1) - Install
  3. Connect the electrical connectors and install the wiring harness retainers as necessary.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

    Windshield Defroster Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  6. Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  7. Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  9. Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

  12. Steering Column Assembly - Install - Steering Column Removal and Installation

    Connect the electrical connector.

  14. Dimmer Switch (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel (2) - Install

  16. Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Compartment (2) - Install

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator - Right Side (2) - Install

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (2) - Install

  24. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (3) - Install

  26. Data Link Connector (2) - Install
  27. Data Link Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    Quantity of retainers may vary based on option content.

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator - Left Side (2) - Install

  40. Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module (2) - Install
  41. Instrument Cluster Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  50. Radio Control (2) - Install
  51. Radio Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  52. Front Floor Console - Install - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation

    { If equipped } Connect the electrical connector.

  54. Instrument Panel Instrument Cluster Hood (2) - Install
  55. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  57. Radio Front Center Speaker (2) - Install
  58. Radio Front Center Speaker Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  61. Instrument Panel Extension (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connector.

  63. Radio Front Speaker - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]
  64. Radio Front Speaker Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Radio Front Speaker Grille - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Connect the electrical connector.

  67. Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  68. Align the retainer clips with the slots in the A pillar and press the windshield garnish moldings (1) into place.
  69. Windshield Garnish Molding - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]
  70. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
