Preliminary Procedures Liftgate Replacement (Equinox) , or Liftgate Replacement (Terrain) Lower the rear of the headliner to access the nuts. Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without C3U) , or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With C3U) Mark the position of the hinges with a grease pencil.
1	Liftgate Hinge Nut [2x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
2	Liftgate Hinge [2x] Procedure Liftgate Adjustment (Equinox) , or Liftgate Adjustment (Terrain)
