Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the front seat belt tensioner cover fastener. Refer to Front Seat Belt Retractor Replacement (Crew Cab)Front Seat Belt Retractor Replacement (Extended Cab) . Remove the body hinge pillar garnish molding. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Left Side) Body Hinge Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Right Side) . Remove the rear side door sill garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding Replacement . Move seat to full forward position.
1	Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt Cap
2	Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Use a small flat bladed tool to open the trim panel bolt cap to access the fastener. Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
3	Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Assembly Procedure Starting at the top and working down with a trim tool, remove the center pillar upper and center pillar lower together as one assembly. Separate the center pillar upper and center pillar lower by squeezing tabs as indicated and pulling upward. Ensure the seat belt webbing does not become trapped during installation.
