Removal Procedure

- Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement (Sedan) .
- Remove the front side door water deflector.
- Position the front side door window regulator rear rail to access and remove the door latch and handle bracket assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Sedan) .
- Remove the front side door window rear channel. Refer to Front Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement .
- Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the front side door outside handle bracket for the luminous reflecting light, if equipped.
- Remove the front side door outside handle bracket screw. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Bracket Replacement (Sedan) .
- Disconnect the front side door latch electrical connector.
- Remove the four bolts (1) from the front side door latch.
- Remove the outside handle bracket (1) and the front side door latch (2) as assembly from the vehicle.
NOTE:
Disconnect the window from the window regulator, place the window in the full up position, use masking tape to tape the window to the upper door frame.
