2	Rear Side Door Window Upper Reveal Molding Rivet (Qty: 5) WARNING: Use the proper eye protection when drilling to prevent metal chips from causing physical injury. Procedure Open the door fully, place the window in the full down position. Apply masking tape to the outer applique, belt reveal molding and door frame. Remove the rear side door garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement . Remove the rear side door weatherstrip from the upper retainer only to expose the molding rivets, Refer to Rear Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement - Door Side . Place a protective cover over the trim to protect it from metal shavings while drilling. Always check scale, to size the drill. Do Not over size hole. Using a suitable tool, drill off the rivet heads from each rivets, ensure that all of the rivet is removed from the door frame to prevent a rattle. Start at the rear upper corner of the door, using a suitable tool separate the upper reveal molding from the door window frame.
3	Rear Side Door Window Upper Reveal Molding NOTE: Water test the door, ensure proper seal to the window weatherstrip and the door weatherstrip after repair.

Tighten
2 N.m (18 lb in)

Rear Side Door Window Upper Reveal Molding Rivet (Qty: 5)

WARNING:

Use the proper eye protection when drilling to prevent metal chips from causing physical injury.

Procedure

Open the door fully, place the window in the full down position.
Apply masking tape to the outer applique, belt reveal molding and door frame.
Remove the rear side door garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement .
Remove the rear side door weatherstrip from the upper retainer only to expose the molding rivets, Refer to Rear Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement - Door Side .
Place a protective cover over the trim to protect it from metal shavings while drilling.
Always check scale, to size the drill. Do Not over size hole.
Using a suitable tool, drill off the rivet heads from each rivets, ensure that all of the rivet is removed from the door frame to prevent a rattle.
Start at the rear upper corner of the door, using a suitable tool separate the upper reveal molding from the door window frame.
