Installation Procedure

- Install Heater Outlet Hose (1)
- Install Heater Outlet Hose Retainer (1) @ Heater Core (2)
- Install Radiator Surge Tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LF4, LGX)
- Install Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace - Right Side. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Right Side (ATS-V) .
- Engage Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (1) @ Heater Outlet Hose (2). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Install Catalytic Converter - Right Side. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LF4)
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks. Refer to Cooling System Leak Testing
NOTE:
Lubricate the inside diameters of the heater inlet hose with clean coolant prior to installation.
