Preliminary Procedures Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) . Remove the right side front end sheet metal diagonal brace. Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Right Side (ATS-V)Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Right Side Unclip the electrical connector from the surge tank.
1	Radiator Surge Tank Hose Clamp (Qty: 2) Procedure Reposition the radiator surge tank hose clamps using BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers. Special Tools BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers
2	Heater Outlet Hose
3	Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose
4	Radiator Surge Tank Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
5	Radiator Surge Tank Procedure Fill the coolant to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) . Inspect cooling system for leaks. Cooling System Leak Testing .
