Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW O-ring seal.(2)
  2. Install Radiator Outlet Pipe (3)
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Radiator Outlet Pipe Bracket Bolt (1) Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  4. Connect the engine electrical wiring harness retainers (1).

  5. Connect Heater Outlet Hose (2) @Heater Core - Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LF4)

  6. Connect Heater Inlet Hose (2) @Heater Core - Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LF4)

  7. Install Radiator Outlet Pipe Bracket Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  8. Connect Radiator Outlet Hose (2) - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LF4)

  9. Install Engine Oil Cooler Adapter (2) - Engine Oil Cooler Adapter Replacement (LF4)

  12. Connect Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (2) @Transmission - Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LF4 With MG9)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LF4 With M5U)

  13. Install Engine Mount Bracket - Right Side (4) - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side (LF4)
  14. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Removal and Installation (LF4)
  15. Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
